USED TO/ DIDN'T USE TO

We use 'used to' + infinitive for things that happened repeatedly or over a long period of time in the past, but are usually not true now, for example for things which happened when you were a child: 'I used to play in the street'.

We can give advice to people using 'should' or 'shouldn´t' + infinitive or the second conditonal sentence 'If I were you, I would...'
